Brad Osborn is a level III senior certified addictions counselor who provides counseling, assessment, intervention, referral, and aftercare services. Addiction counseling is Brad’s second career which began in 1996 after 7 years in the Air Force and many years in management roles in the transportation and automobile industries. He began his career in the substance abuse field working in the detoxification unit for Colorado West Recovery Center in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. He managed the detoxification facility in Aspen, where he worked with dedicated members of the community to develop The Right Door concept of providing case management services in collaboration with agencies regularly contacting those in crisis with addiction and recovering community volunteers. His experience in the addictions field also includes outpatient and aftercare counseling, inpatient counseling, facilitating DUI education, therapy and Strategies for Self Improvement and Change groups for the 9th Judicial District Pitkin County Drug Court. Brad is a member of NAADAC, the National Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors and is a past Board of Director and President of CAAP, the Colorado Association of Addictions Professionals, NAADAC’s Colorado affiliate. Brad is passionate about his family, golf, skiing, fly fishing and baseball.
