Dr. Lauren Golia received her doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Fordham University (2017), her masters in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University (2005), and has established two private practices between Grand Junction and Carbondale. Lauren has long had a curiosity about creativity and human potential and much of her work is in helping people to understand how the narratives we inherit and construct hold powerful sway over our emotions, beliefs, behaviors, identities, and thereby relationship with the Self and each other. Lauren established Mindful Integrative Solutions, a Colorado-based psychological and consulting services practice, on the principles of growth, connection, and accountability. She provides individual relational/psychodynamic psychotherapy as well as behavioral health and corporate consultation, and volunteers as a court-appointed special advocate for child victims of abuse and neglect. Lauren's edge is her ability to communicate effectively and provide a compassionate stance while holding clients accountable for their life choices. Strong back, soft front, wild heart. She is passionate about building stronger, healthier, and more resilient Western Slope communities.
